Based on long-term partnerships with all existing world-wide satellite data providers GISAT represents the centre point for all clients interested in satellite data acquisition. The list of satellite data that can be obtained through GISAT’s distribution channels includes QuickBird, Ikonos, WorldView-1, OrbView, Kompsat, EROS, Formosat, SPOT, IRS, Aster, Landsat, Hyperion, Kosmos, Resurs, TerraSAR-X, Radarsat, ERS, JERS, Envisat, etc. Before the satellite data are ordered and supplied clients can take advantage of consulting and advising services related to the choice of the most suitable data, accurate processing and integration with existing tools and databases. Thanks to our long-term experience with the use of satellite data in many application areas, GISAT can guarantee cost effective and straightforward solutions customised for the clients requirements.

GISAT products and services rely on the use of state-of-the-art information technology. The company is equipped with a powerful computer network and it uses leading GIS, IAS and DB software solutions.
All methods applied are updated and improved according the most recent developments in the EO domain worldwide and verified with the cooperation of both domestic and foreign institutions, such as: the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Environmental Agency (EEA), the Joint Research Centre of the EU (JRC), the Czech Academy of Science and dozen of national and European Universities and Research Labs.

Having been a leader or taking part in various international projects GISAT has long-term experience with international co-operation. In particular GISAT has an excellent understanding of specific environmental situations in the CEE countries. Furthermore GISAT also works with none European based clients and has worked with clients from all over the world.
