Gisat was a member of the consortium contracted by the Czech Ministry of Agriculture to build and implement the European management system in agriculture (IACS) in the Czech Republic. The project included complex analysis and design of the system including registers and information system; LPIS design, creation and implementation; testing of IACS procedures, dissemination and implementation of results to the agricultural sector in the Czech Republic. GISAT was responsible for the issues related to the on-the-spot controls of area-based agricultural subsidies. The main activities covered methodological and operational analysis, several CwRS (Control with remote Sensing) pilot studies, pilot study focused on risk analysis for CwRS site selection and various consultancy and training services.
