Services related to the provision of satellite and derived thematic mapping products to support European security related applications around the world. Gisat has been involved in mapping activities that included land cover / land use mapping & change detection, features extraction, illicit crops and illegal timber logging mapping. It represented 4 mapping projects in Africa (Democratic Republic of the Kongo, Algeria, Zimbabwe) and 2 mapping projects in South America (Peru, Columbia).
