The project was a part of the Flood Risk Assessment Pilot Project of JRC/ ARIS Unit. It was aiming at developing and implementing a rainfall-runoff model to simulate the influence of European or original policies on the flooding problem of trans-national catchments. The land cover part of the model is essential. Therefore, the output of the project was creation of a land cover database on CORINE Land Cover database level 3 for Czech part of Odra river catchment corresponding to situation in 1975/76. Satellite MSS data were used for the database creation.
