GISAT is the member of an international consortium formed as the European Topic Centre on Land Use and Spatial Information (ETCLUSI) on 2006. ETCLUSI is the follow-up of the former European Topic Centre on Terrestrial Environment (ETC-TE) working in 2001-2006. The mission of ETCLUSI, designated by the European Environment Agency (EEA), is to assist in EEA work of collecting, analysing, evaluating and summarising information relevant to national and international policies for the environment and sustainable development, with focus on land cover/land use issues and spatial informationi in general.
