Image data from synthetic aperture radar on the board of the ERS-1 satellite has been used to produce map of the oil line connecting Ingolstadt (Germany) and Kralupy (Czech Republic). Two images were geometrically transformed to a map projection and combined to get mosaic picturing the whole line.
