Demonstration of GIS and remote sensing technology usage for information support of local and central government. Area of the Black Triangle represented one of the most polluted region in Europe. It spreads over the boundaries between three countries: the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany. Digital database for GIS has been developed and several applications has been presented as air pollution modeling and soil erosion mapping. Database have been provided to local district offices.
