Orthorectification & mosaicking
Orthorectification is the most accurate method for airborne and satellite data rectification. Availability of accurate digital elevation model (DEM) and ground control points (GCPs) is a key prerequisite to get satisfactory results.Data orthorectification is one of the most required services from our clients. We have managed not a few small and large, domestic and international projects orthorectifying all type of satellite or airborne images. Our experiences in this area and use of state-of-the-art software tools guarantee the delivery of the most accurate product according to the client requirements and quality of reference data available.
Mosaicking is usually the next processing step in case many satellite or airborne images cover large area to be processed. Production of seamless and color balanced product is the frequent requirement. Again, this is a routine but also not trivial operation Gisat has applied in many projects in the past.
